Who we are

BAE Label was born from a mother’s love and a dream for her children.

Growing up in Thailand, Dream Chalermklang saw how people looked at mixed-race children — the whispers, the stares, the quiet judgment.
She never imagined she’d one day fall in love with a Black man and have a Blasian daughter of her own.

But when she did, she promised her child something powerful:
You will never feel ashamed of who you are.

BAE stands for Black and Asian Excellence, but it also means Before Anyone Else — a reminder to love yourself first.

Every piece in BLEND by BAE carries that message — that love sees no color, only beauty, courage, and pride.

Our Why

BAE Label is more than a brand — it’s a community.

In many parts of Asia, women are often limited by circumstance — working long hours in low-paying jobs with little access to opportunity or government support.

Our founder, Dream Chalermklang, knows what it means to struggle, to fight for dignity, and to want more for your family. Her journey shaped our mission: to help other women find their voice, their confidence, and their independence.

Through the BAE Scholarship Program, we’re creating opportunities for single mothers across Asia to learn valuable skills and trades — empowering them to build a better future for themselves and their children.

Every purchase carries that promise forward.

BAE stands for Black and Asian Excellence, but it also reminds us to love ourselves Before Anyone Else — and to lift others as we rise.
